Brought in an old Seiko 5 that had sat in a drawer for years. The team explained what the movement needed before starting anything — no pressure, just a clear explanation. It came back running well, with a short note on what was done. I appreciated the no-nonsense approach.

Had a diver's watch with a scratched sapphire and some case marks from years of use. Niran talked me through what the polishing would look like — specifically, that taking off too much would flatten the brushed finish on the lugs. We agreed a careful approach. It looks genuinely better without losing character.

My grandmother's Longines — a manual-wind piece from the 1960s — had stopped working. I was nervous about leaving it anywhere, but the team were transparent about what they planned to do and sent photos at a couple of stages during the restoration. It keeps time now, and the documentation they put together is genuinely lovely to have.

Very straightforward experience. Quartz dress watch that needed a battery and a look at the case seal. Done in a day. The price was exactly as quoted and I received a note explaining what was inspected. Won't need to look elsewhere for watch servicing while I'm based here.

I had a watch with a mineral crystal that had a large chip in it. Pendula sourced the replacement — not a standard off-the-shelf size — and fitted it without fuss. They kept me updated on parts availability, which I appreciated. The finished result was clean.

Brought in a family Omega that my father bought in the 1970s. The movement needed a full service and the bracelet was loose in two places. The work took about four weeks in total. What I valued was the honesty — they found a damaged jewel and explained the options rather than just fixing it without asking. I have the photo record and condition notes filed with the watch box now.

Three project stories
Case Study 01
A 1968 Citizen automatic — brought by a daughter on behalf of her late father
The situation
The watch had been in a drawer since the early 2000s. The movement had stopped, the acrylic crystal was deeply scratched, and the bracelet had several loose pins. The owner wanted it wearable again without losing the period character.
The approach
Full movement service with parts sourced from a Tokyo specialist. The acrylic crystal was replaced with a period-correct thickness. Case cleaning was deliberately light to retain the original finish. Bracelet pins replaced without additional polishing.
The outcome
Movement running within ±15 seconds per day. Crystal clear, bracelet secure. Owner received 12 photographs and a four-page written record. Watch is now worn weekly.

Case Study 02
A modern chronograph with fogged crystal and worn pushers
The situation
A ten-year-old chronograph brought in with a degraded crystal (internal fogging from a compromised seal) and a worn case that had lost definition on the pusher crowns. Movement was working correctly.
The approach
Sapphire crystal sourced and fitted. Gaskets replaced to restore water resistance. Case polishing limited to the bezel and caseback — the case sides and lugs were left in their existing finish as the owner preferred. New crown rubbers fitted to the pushers.
The outcome
Crystal clear, no fogging. Case work respected the owner's preference for a worn patina on the main body. Returned in five days with a written note and new-seal confirmation.

Case Study 03
Routine service for a quartz field watch that had been running fast
The situation
An everyday quartz watch gaining several minutes per week. Battery had been replaced elsewhere recently. Movement contacts showed minor corrosion from an older battery leak.
The approach
Movement module cleaned, contacts treated, new battery fitted. Timing checked after service — confirmed accuracy within normal quartz tolerance. Owner informed that the module would likely need replacement in two to three years given the contact wear.
The outcome
Watch returned in two days keeping accurate time. Written note included the contact condition and the anticipated module service timeline so the owner has a realistic picture going forward.
