How each job is handled
Every service at Pendula begins at the bench before it begins on paper. We look at the watch first — movement condition, case wear, seal integrity, crystal clarity — and form a picture of what it actually needs.
That assessment shapes the conversation with the owner. Sometimes the answer is straightforward. Other times, particularly with older pieces, there are decisions to make about scope and approach. We prefer to have those conversations early, so there are no surprises part-way through a job.
Bench inspection on arrival
Movement, case, crystal and seals assessed. Findings noted before tools are lifted.
Scope and cost agreed
We explain what's needed and confirm the cost before work begins. Any additions during the job are discussed before they proceed.
Work carried out
Serviced using calibre-appropriate tools and lubricants. Timing verified on mechanical movements.
Handover with written record
Condition note provided. Restoration projects include photographs and a parts record.

Service & Diagnostics
A careful bench service for quartz and mechanical watches, covering cleaning, lubrication or battery renewal, gasket inspection and a timing review. A practical option for a watch that runs poorly or has gone untouched for several years. The owner receives a short, plain note describing the watch's condition and the work carried out.

Service 02
Case & Crystal Renewal
Cosmetic care covering case polishing, crystal replacement and bracelet refurbishment where appropriate. Each watch is reviewed first and a clear plan agreed, so older pieces keep their character. A practical option for watches that still run well but show their years.

Service 03
Keepsake Restoration
A complete restoration for vintage and family watches, pairing mechanical servicing with gentle cosmetic work and considered part sourcing. The project is documented with photographs and written notes, giving the owner a tidy record of the watch's revival. Designed for pieces meant to be worn and handed on.

Written record on every job
Condition note prepared at assessment and provided on handover. No verbal summary only.
Timing verification on mechanicals
All serviced mechanical movements checked on a timing machine before handover.
Calibre-appropriate lubricants
Correct oils and greases for each movement type. Applied in the right places and amounts.
Known-channel parts only
Replacement parts sourced through established watch parts suppliers. No unverified substitutions.
Secure handling throughout
Watches held in secure storage when not on the bench. Handled only by the assigned craftsperson.
Scope agreed before work begins
Nothing added mid-job without your agreement. Any new findings are discussed before proceeding.
