A quartz battery change or basic service is usually ready within a day or two. A full mechanical service typically takes one to two weeks depending on parts availability. Keepsake restorations are quoted on a project basis — generally three to six weeks — and we keep you informed along the way.

The prices shown are starting figures. If assessment reveals work beyond the standard scope — for example a damaged jewel, a corroded case back or a hard-to-source part — we tell you what's needed and agree the cost before continuing. Nothing extra is added without discussion.

Yes. Our Keepsake Restoration service is designed for vintage and family watches. We work with older Swiss and Japanese movements and source parts through specialist suppliers. If a part is no longer available, we discuss alternatives honestly before any decision is made.

Not necessarily — and often that's the right approach. On older pieces, heavy polishing can flatten detail and remove patina that took decades to develop. We talk through what's achievable beforehand and aim for cosmetic improvement that keeps the watch looking like itself, not brand new.

We handle every piece with care. Watches are stored securely and only handled at the workbench. If you have concerns about a particularly valuable piece, we're happy to discuss the handling arrangements when you drop it off.
